Hi

For some odd reason Affinity Publisher won't let me save recently created files. It's fine when creating a new file (same location) but older (pre 1.9.1) cannot be saved, not in any folder. screenshot attached.

I also have this problem, have consulted the forums and tried all the resoltions proposed, but like many others the bug persists no matter what I try. Really, if this bug persists, the entire program is worthless.

Hi @migo33 Sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

I have been unable to recreate this issue on my own iMac and also on my work iMac so there may be some steps I am missing. Does this happen to all Publisher files that were created before 1.9.1 or is this file specific? If it is limited to certain files could you zip them up along with any assets and upload them here for me please?

Have the files always been in the same location and the only change is the Publisher version?

Hi @BreadWeek Welcome to the Affinity forums!

Sorry to hear you are also experiencing this issue. Can you tell me if this is file specific or does it happen will all of your files that were created in the previous version? I've been unable to reproduce this issue so far. Could you upload one of the files that you are having the issue with here please?

Thanks SPaceBar,

It seems like this was a specific file. I didn't experience this issue since but will monitor and keep you posted.

There are some other issues with 1.9.1 such as some tools stop responding after the Mac wakes up from sleep and the file is still open. Need to restart Affinity to get things back to normal.

Cheers
