starlabranche Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Hello! I am trying to format a book of poetry and I am so close to getting the page numbering perfect I can just taste it. What I'm trying to do is have a right hand title page. Then the page turns and the left page is blank. The right hand page has info on it and has a page number. The next left hand page is also blank and the next right hand page has more front matter. I have each page divided into sections, and have the 3rd chronological page marked to be the first actual page. Unfortunately, even though it's marked to restart page numbering at page 1, the 3rd chronological page still says page 3. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. All other pages are just fine. But this one is being stubborn. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated! Quote
Staff Lee D Posted June 9, 2021 Staff Posted June 9, 2021 Hi @starlabranche Welcome to the forums. Sorry, your question has seem to have slipped through the cracks. Are you still having an issue with this, if so can you provide a copy of the file so I can take a look. If it's a file not for public sharing please send me it via a DM. Quote
MikeTO Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 I know my OCD wouldn't let me do this, but if it's a single page just delete the auto page number and manually type "3". 🙂 But if you want to fix it, I recommend checking the Section Manager. I assume that pages 1-3 are in section 1 and pages 4+ are in section 2. Page 3 would need to be in section 1. I apologize if this is obvious and you've already done this. It should look like this: Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.5, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
