Immediate crash on typing into a text box

I think You'll have to - could you zip up that entire publisher appdata folder for me please ( Without the crash reports).

 

Can you confirm OS version and what language/locale you have your PC and Publisher configured for.

Before downgrading (1.9.0 was a can of worms)

Close Publisher and

Rename this 

C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0

to

C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0old

Then see if that work

Renaming the ...Publisher\1.0 directory passes the trivial test, thank you.

I can't think of anything odd about my installation. I did have problems with version 1.9.0 as my main file (carried over from 1.8) included several pdfs which had been edited and came through as passthrough but then crashed on export. But I solved that by removing and replacing the pdfs, and I don't see how that would affect my user preferences.
