Lamont
I have added the Topas InFocus plug-in to Affinity Photo, but I can't select it under Filters. Is this plug-in incompatible?
Staff Callum Posted October 8, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2015 Hi Lamont, Please could you make sure that you have followed all of the steps found in this guide to make sure they have been setup with Affinity correctly. The path for Topaz Plugins is Mac HD > Library > Application support > Topaz Labs > {Plugin Name} > Plugins. Please could you make sure that you have added this to the Photoshop Plugins section of your Preferences. I hope this helps :) C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Lamont
Yes, that's exactly the path for the plug-in. I do not get any plug-in option under Filters -> Plug-ins. So the Topaz plug-in should actually be working?
Staff MEB Posted October 8, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2015 Hi Lamont, In the Plug-in Support Folders section at bottom, click Add folder, press ⇧ (shift) + ⌘ (cmd) + G, and write / , then press Go, then OK, finally close the the Preferences dialog and restart Affinity Photo. Lamont
Thanks for the reply. I followed your instructions, but the plug-in still does not show up under Fliters -> Plugin or Sharpen. What did the prescribed procedure actually do? It created something, right? Current entry with a "/."
PEKA62
Lamont Set 'Plugin Search Folders' to: /Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs/Plugins and 'Plugin support folders' to: / support folder must be writable for the plugin-app.
PEKA62
Sorry, forget the above. Path is wrong. This is how it is working here:
