Frank Lewis Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 I was prompted to upgrade from ver. 1.8.5 to ver 1.9 .1 Affinity was working fine with Ver 1.8.5. After the upgrade Affinity will no longer start. The initial splash screen appears and then disappears and the app fails to open further. I have reinstalled the upgrade ( several times) and get a box with the option to repair or uninstall. Repairing does nothing. I have now uninstalled version 1.9.1 and reinstalled version 1.8.5. As before this version works fine. My PC is HP Notebook - 15-da0000na What do I need to do to make the latest version work? Quote
Staff Lee D Posted May 21, 2021 Staff Posted May 21, 2021 Welcome to the forums @Frank Lewis Since ver 1.9.1 we have released 1.9.2 as some issues where found with our OpenCL/Hardware Acceleration integration, have you tried downloading this updated version and installing, does the same issue occur?
