muelli75
Usage of ADesigner 1.9.1 I want to export a CMYK-File and I want that the exported PDF contains a spotcolor. I tried several possibilities - but the goal is not reached. The exported PDF contains no spotcolor, the export is converted to CMYK. Here are some pictures: I choosed the spotcolor for this circle I choosed "honor spotcolors" in the exportsettings Here is the result, shown in Adobe Acrobat in the Preview-Panel: there is no spotcolor. The colorvalue of CMYK displayed by PitStop. Quote Regards, Martin iMac 27", 2017/Big Sur 11.2.2 MacMini M1/BigSur 11.2.
Staff Sean P Posted March 10, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 10, 2021 Hi muelli75, The colour you're pointing at hasn't been set to a spot. Spot colours are identified by having a dot in the lower right of them. The top right indicator is that it has overprint applied to it, and the lower left is that it is a Global Colour. When you create the Global Colour you need to ensure you check the 'Spot' option.https://affinity.help/designer/de.lproj/pages/Clr/spotClr.html
