Kfaye4 Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 I am following all the protocol for Affinity Designer per their request, this is my third stop. So I apologize if this seems super ridiculous, I just really need to be able to do my job. Here is my original requests to them, first in fb messanger, then on fb as a post. They sent me here due to their high volume of emails. I am very nervous to delete and re-install but that may be the best bet? I am looking to exhaust all options since the software worked just fine before the weekend. Hello I am using Affinity Designer version 1.9.1.979. I have used it with success since install but today (yesteday now) the opening window shows up briefly then just disappears, no pop up window stating a problem. I can't get it to open at all. Can you offer some advice? Nothing has changed on the PC since I used it last. I did try restarting my computer. Quote

It may be OpenCL/Hardware Acceleration related but also check to make sure your Windows is fully up to date. If not follow the steps in this FAQ article to get the event logs from Windows to upload for checking. Quote
