Thunder Pig
Hey all, I've been struggling with this one for some time, because I use artboards quite heavily to manage client social media assets. When working in pixels, which I often do. Creating a new artboard that falls into decimal places on either the X or Y axis will cause your export slice to be off by 1 or more pixels. It can also cause the whole slice to be shifted by 1-2 pixels at times as well. There doesn't seem to be any specific rhyme or reason that I can tell. This creates unwanted results as you can imagine. In my screenshots you can see that post-39-1200 falls on 77830.9px of the X-axis. If i don't remember to correct that to 77831 or any other non-decimal number, my slice ends up being 1201(width) by 1200px, when in fact the slice was originally set at 1200 x 1200 pixels and would be the case if the decimal wasn't happening on the axis. Staff MEB Posted March 9, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 9, 2021 Hi @Thunder Pig, Welcome to Affinity Forums Thanks for your report. Issue logged to be looked at. I know it doesn't help much with such a high number of artboards but using File > Export instead of the Export Persona will give you files with the correct dimensions. Thunder Pig
Yeah that does work. I'm often exporting quite a few at once, so the Export Persona is so damn handy. Appreciate the tip.
