lineweight Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I often use the "edit in designer" or "edit in photo" function when working on multi-page publisher documents. Previously, I've simply made active the page that I want to work in, used the "edit in..." command and that page opens up in Designer or Photo, as expected. Now this is not working - whatever page I make active in Publisher, when I use the "edit in" command, it opens up the same page (page no. 2 for some reason). I've only just done the 1.9.1 update - is it related? If so is it possible to roll back to the previous version? Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 It works fine for me in 1.9.1. But, out of curiosity, why don't you just use the Photo or Designer Personas in Publisher for this? Also, in case you don't know, you can navigate to the correct page using the Page Navigator at the bottom left of your application window. Thanks - I hadn't realised there was a page navigator in Designer. I tend to use the Designer app instead of just the Persona because I think there are a few things missing in the Persona, compared to the app. Can't now remember what they are, but at some point in the past I decided just to switch to the app each time because it's so easy to do. The Designer Persona in Publisher offers all the functions of the Designer Persona in Designer, as far as I know. All you should get in switching to the Designer application is the functions of the Pixel Persona (which the Photo Persona in Publisher should also provide), and the functions of the Export Persona.
