If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app, it’s worth noting that the beta will install as a separate app - alongside your store version. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry. This beta is an incremental update from the 1.9.1 version recently released to all customers (although it still installs parallel to the released version, as described above). We recommend that you use this beta in preference to the store version if you are affected by any of the issues listed below. --- Fixes General Fixed crash at startup due to bad OpenCL drivers (really this time) Document / Spread setup Document size presets create incorrectly sized pages if the Document DPI doesn't match the preset DPI Business card templates shouldn't be facing page Import / Export / Resources Fixed being unable to download full resolution OpenAsset images Improved Brush and Asset categories alphabetical sort options Fixed crash choosing Add Pages from File with 'After Last Page' selected Replacing a scaled Picture Frame image wasn't maintaining placement Convert to Picture Frame does not use default saved settings, cf Convert to Text Frame Renaming then re-linking a cropped PDF or AF document scales the un-cropped document Missing Content Status for placed PDFs Placed PDF Page Box / Maximum Content calculated incorrectly Add Pages from File could handle z-order badly when moving page content Renamed Export Area 'With background' option to avoid confusion. sandr Posted March 9, 2021 Share Posted March 9, 2021 Updated the beta, Still a linked pdf, placed in a picture frame and rescaled in AFP is behaving awkward when relinking or updating the file after editing the pdf in another program (incorrect scale and position).. totally unworkable..
