walt.farrell Posted March 8, 2021 Share Posted March 8, 2021 One common reason for that is that at some point the wrong bounding-box handle was used to resize a text frame. On the lower right of the bounding box there is a handle that is not connected to the frame (which I have marked below). That one resizes the frame and scales the text, and using it when all you want is to resize the frame can cause this kind of problem. However, there was also a known bug when importing IDML files that can cause it. I don't know if you're using IDML, and I don't know if that bug has been fixed, yet.
