Jonas14
When I open a converted RAW image, then it has no color profile, although it really should have a profile (s. Screensshoot_1). Mir is noticed because a warning is issued (s. Screenshoot_2). The second are the icons below ElCapitan (s.screenshoot_3). Is that all right? That is understandable with my Google English? www.donath-photographie.eu
Staff Leigh Posted October 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2015 Did you convert the RAW file to a TIFF using Affinity Photo? If so, did you tick the option to Embed ICC profile from the More options panel?
csp
why does AP not simply embed the workspace profile on export ?
Staff Leigh Posted October 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2015 In the MAS version of Affinity Photo the ICC profile is automatically embedded when using File > Export. In the Beta version of Affinity Photo we've added the option to include the ICC profile or not. I agree, this should be ticked by default. I will log this with the developers to see what they say. Jonas14
Hi Leigh, I use currently the Beta Affinity Photo v. 1.3.5.3 when I convert a RAW in a Tiff, always appears to me pre-warning (s.screenshoot 2) www.donath-photographie.eu
A_B_C
Nützt das was? :) Alex
Jonas14

A_B_C
Gern geschehen. :) Great, that we sorted everything out … and Leigh, perhaps colour profile embedding should indeed be ticked by default … ;)
Staff Leigh Posted October 8, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 8, 2015 Yea. No doubt other users will be confused by this change - I've logged it will the developers :) A_B_C
