Transfer License Publisher to Apple App Store

I bought the product in the shop shortly after the publisher was released (it was not yet available in the apple app store at that time).

Now I would like to transfer the license to the apple app store.
So that I can use features like family sharing.

Is that possible?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

No, that's not possible.

However, if you own the computers used by your other family members, the EULA allows you to install the software on their computers, too, and it allows them to use the software, as long as no one but you uses it for commercial purposes.

I began with Affinity Photo as a beta, way back in the day, and eventually, the licenses for that and Designer did automatically switch, I don't recall having to do anything (but my memory has holes in it, lol). I am hoping that this will also happen with Publisher, since I started with that one as a beta, as well. 

Please advise.

Hello @lisaroseatl and welcome to the forums.

There is no way to switch the licenses between Serif Affinity Store and Apple Store or Windows Store.

Only versions purchased from the Serif Affinity Store must/can be activated as a full version by entering the email address and product key.

Versions from the Apple Store or the Windows Store are activated from the moment of purchase.
