AFJ
I've been using affinity designer since last year. But after a latest update(1.9.1), it started to shut down on the print screen. Does anyone get this issue? I use MacBook Pro 10.15.7. Edited March 6, 2021 by AFJ

Command + P Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Sean P Posted March 9, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 9, 2021 Hi AFJ, We're aware of a crash that can occur if you have a preset (including Last Used Settings) that references an artboard not available in your document (note this was different to the artboard printing crash in 1.9.0). If you go to TextEdit and then go File > Print, change your Preset to 'Default Settings' and then click 'Print'. Note you don't actually need to print anything, but do need to click Print to commit the settings to save, so you could just print a blank page or cancel the print job After that has done load Designer back up and try and print again - does this work for you? If this does not work, is your print troubles on a new document with a few shapes, or does it happen with a specific file? If it is a specific file could you attach that, and also attach the crash reports that you're seeing appear.
PaulHatton
I had this problem in early 2020. I never found out why. BUT I did find that if I deleted my printer and then reinstalled it, all was OK after that. The bug reappeared every time there was an update of AD. So I have spent the year deleting and reinstalling my printer! Not much help but maybe a work-around for you.
