SVG not converting to font correctly

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the forum and brand new to Affinity, so go easy on me. 🙂

I created a vectored shape in Affinity: curvy lines with arrows. They look correct in Affinity, and I'm exporting them as SVG.

When I import them into an online font converter (in this case, Glyphter), the font shows some overlap of the elements (which also display anywhere I try to use the font):

What am I doing incorrectly?

EDIT: I think I figured it out. I selected both shapes and click "Add."
