Raymondo
As I said with regard to my post re Photo, been to Mac App Store but don’t see any download option. All three apps are current.
Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 4, 2021 @Raymondo I can see from your registration that you have a mix of applications from the Affinity store and the Mac App Store, that is fine and this beta should still work OK with your MAS Designer. (the message meant get a full version from the App Store not a beta, and you are not supposed to see that message if you have the release build installed, it is designer to appear when you do not have a release build installed [or in your case when you do but the beta cannot find the release build]) Are your Affinity Applications installed in the Applications folder, which is where the beta looks for them? Failing that can the beta please be in the same location (any sub-folder of applications) where your full versions are running? Raymondo
Hi Patrick due to the fact Mac OS has just had an update I thought I would reboot to see if there was maybe a slight glitch and then I cleared out all betas and re-installed them. Alas I still get the same validation window.
Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 4, 2021 @Raymondo Is your Affinity Designer 1.9.1 release versions in the Application folder or in another location? Have you dragged the Affinity Designer beta dmg into the Applications folder also when prompted?
