RockAdel
Found the mistake - Had to change to pixel persona Edited March 4, 2021 by RockAdel
jmwellborn
Welcome to the Forums @RockAdel Are you in the Designer Persona or in the Pixel Persona? If you are in the Designer Persona (the blue Designer icon below your main menu bar) then you have only the Brush Tool. If you are in the Pixel Persona (the icon next to the blue one with the colored squares) then you will find the Selection Brush tool plus the Marquee selection tools. They are different from the Brush Tool. If you don't have those tools, go to VIEW>and scroll down to the bottom to Customize Tools. You will then be provided a popup that shows all the available tools for each persona. Drag what you want out to your toolbar. Then click Close. I hope this helps!! walt.farrell
Also, make sure you're looking at Designer tutorials, not Photo tutorials. If you can provide pointers to one of the tutorials that you're having a problem with perhaps we can provide more advice. Thank you, I realized it at the same time you wrote it. What a damn mistake! 🙈 But no Tutorial showed the choose between Designer and Pixel... I even didn't know that these options exist. Very happy now! And I cut my first object now 😄 Thank you for the quick reply!
jmwellborn
@RockAdel You are very welcome! I am so glad you figured it out. Not a mistake. If you wanted mistakes, you should see the dumb stuff I have done in times gone by.
