Trimbox and Maximum content for placed assets

Recommended Posts

After upgrading to AP 1.9.1 logos that I had placed (embedded) in version 1.8 had vanished when I reopened the files to make changes.

I could see the logos in the layers, but weren't appearing in the image space. I selected the crop masks in the layers and the adjustment handles appeared, but still no logo.

When I went to Page Box and reselected Maximum Content, did the logo reappear. However the handles are not accurate to the image placed.

This worked perfectly in AP 1.8, but now producing strange results in the current version.

Hi @Great Big Bite,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Do you still have the original file you created in v1.8? Can you please upload it for inspection using this upload link? Thank you.

Files uploaded, the logo text doesn't even appear, and the Logo in the background from the same file is clipped. I have dozens of these files for 3 different events. all with same issue. luckily I'd already exported everything for output before the upgrade to 1.9. However when I needed to return to these files for additional work on the events, was when I noticed that the logos weren't appearing correctly, and/or clipping.

Cheers,
