ChristiduToit
I'm not sure if this is XP-Pen's new driver or Affinity's new update, but I thought I'd mention it here. The 'tilt' brush modifier function does not seem to work in Affinity on my side (even though my tablet definitely supports pen tilt). I've tried it with numerous default and custom Affinity brushes with 'tilt' as a modifier, and the tilting of the pen does not seem to be making any impact on the strokes. Staff Gabe Posted March 9, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 9, 2021 Hi @ChristiduToit, Sorry for the delayed reply. We don't have a XP pen with tilt support, so can't really do any testing. However, the tilt works fine when using a Wacom. I suggest you roll back 1 app at a time and see which one is broken.
ChristiduToit
@Gabe This happens in Photo and Designer for me. I don't often use tilt, but I picked up on this while trying to experiment with it. XP-Pen drivers are notoriously buggy with Affinity apps, so I first thought it might be the pen, but that doesn't seem to be the case. When tilting the pen, the app does register the tilt (so the app can read it and the pen does work as intended), but when I draw it seems to only properly register the tilt on the first and last pixel. A bit tricky to explain, but I've done a quick screen recording to show what I mean:
