HSL Color wheel display bug

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a persistent bug with the display of the color wheel in HSL Adjustment in Affinity Photo on Mac. The wheel displays and works normally at first. But after working and opening this adjustment module for a couple of times, suddenly only 1/4 of the wheel is displayed and most color slots are not accessible. Only a hard restart of the app will fix this for a while, but then again this but appears anew.

This issue started about a year ago for me. Since then I hoped a new version would fix this. But as it has not been the case, I better report it.

My computer:

macOS Big Sur, v 11.1 (20C69)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)

2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

If I remember this bug correctly you need to drag the HSL Panel from the second screen back to the primary screen then back again to correct it - whenever it happens

Or something like that

It has been officially reported as a bug

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

The issue "HSL adjustment and multiple screens: only a quarter of the colour spectrum circle is displayed" (REF: AF-88) has been fixed by the developers in build "2.4.0 Release".
This fix is in the current customer release.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us
