The Shark Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 The file could not be opened because permission was denied I have to restart Affinity Photo 1.9.1 (Big Sur 11.2.2), then it works … Quote
Staff Chris B Posted March 2, 2021 Staff Posted March 2, 2021 Hey The Shark, Is this a consistent issue with just this file or all files? Has this started happening in 1.9 or was it an issue in 1.8 as well? Finally, did you purchase the app from us directly or through the Apple Store? I'd like to see what your preferences are set to in Security & Privacy because you might need to check the 'App Store and identified developers' option. There was a fix for opening tiff files so I'm a little surprised you're seeing this. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

I find Publisher but not Photo or Designer, in Security & Privacy. And I can't add them. Can't find App Store? Quote

The Shark Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 I gave the application Full Disk Access that should give the application enough permissions to do everything it needs. Now Affinity Photo and Designer shows up in Files and Folders and I get permission! (+/- are still greyed out) Thanks for support! Quote
