Unable to save resized object

Hi I created a favicon on square post size. I've tried to resize it manually by dragging however when I export it it doesn't save to my preferred size.

Which app are you using and are you resizing the document/artboard or canvas as well and not just the design? A screenshot of your project open in the app may also help in understanding better.
