Crash on Ctrl+C

Recommended Posts

Version: Affinity Designer (Windows): 1.9.1.979

I got quite big problem with crashes during copy or duplicate - this is not strictly related to version above - it was also occuring in several previous versions.

I'm attaching example file, repro steps and crash dump.

Steps to reproduce:

1) open attached test.afdesign file

2) ctrl+a

3) ctrl+c

I got similiar crashes previously on various projects. Somewhere on the forum I've read that disabling windows clipboard history might help - and it helped for a while, but now happens again.

Hi IncredibleForest,

We're aware of crashes that can happen when using Copy in conjunction with Windows Clipboard History (or other forms of clipboard management) as you've stated

I would double check Windows Clipboard History from Windows Settings > System > Clipboard is still disabled and also ensure you don't have any other software running that might manage the clipboard history.

I'll pass your comments over to development and get the issue bumped.
