raguay
Hi, I just came across this web site and was interested: http://flif.info/?ref=webdesignernews.com It's a new graphics format for better compression. It's totally free, amazing fast, and very compact. When browsers start to support it, it will give a great way to getting smaller sizes without sacrificing quality. It would be great for Affinity products to support it as well. anon1
Paul Bravery
There's a bit of excitement about this on some GNU/Linux forums.

Staff Andy Somerfield Posted October 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2015 I'd have done it already, but there are two problems: 1.) They say it's not finished yet ;) 2.) The reference library is GPL - so we cannot include it in a commercial application. Thanks, Andy.

anon1
I question myself how they want to push a new file format if no commercial product is allowed to use it??
