Download affinity apps Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Hi, since getting the notice, that V.1.9.1 is out, I tried to download the three updates from AppStore. It's not possible. What can I do? Quote
John Rostron Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Hello, and welcome to the forums. Could I suggest that you change your user name. The one you have at present only makes sense for this posting. Look at the names people have used in this forum, from their real name (like mine) to the fanciful. You may find that you cannot change your name until after a few postings. Sorry I cannot help you. I am a Windows user! Gear maker Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 What problem are you having? You say it's not possible, can you not open the App Store? Do you not find the updates? Can you please give us more details. What is your OS? I had to try twice when I loaded AD, the first time the download and install seemed to work but I got an error when I tried to run it. Is there an error message you are getting? My second try worked fine. APh I had no problems. Quote iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) with macOS Sierra
Dazmondo77 Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Here is a temp solution that may help as it looks like something is wrong with App Store on Mojave: On 2/26/2021 at 7:44 AM, Dazmondo77 said: For any other Mojave users who have had trouble with the MAS hanging on all downloads (for me on two different macs running Mojave) I found a solution that worked from a user (User366) on stack exchange, that sorted the app store: APP Store Fix Go to Activity Monitor and force-kill appstoreagent process. The app started to download at once. After force-killing appstoreagent, there was no need to log out and log in again in the App Store. Updates and downloads just work again. Hope this helps Now have Pub Des Pho working great on both Macs - Great work team Until this bug is addressed by apple, it looks as if you'll need to use the above workaround to download every time you use the MAS Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 2.2.0 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6, Sonoma 14.7.3 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.6.2 Betas 2.6. www.bingercreative.co.uk
