Katieb12345 Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 When I open a file in Affinity, it is smaller than the one I see than if I open it using Ms Photos. The sides are cropped. I know that this sounds as if I'm opening the wrong picture, but I'm not. The tree on the right-hand side is removed. I am following a tutorial with this picture and part of it is about applying lens correction to the right-hand gate pillar. Although this is not cropped out in Affinity it is considerably less bowed, so I take it that Affinity applies some corrections itself when opening a Raw file. Is there a way to stop it from doing this? Thanks - Helen Quote
lepr Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 There is an option to disable/enable automatic lens correction in the Develop Assistant which will affect subsequently opened raw files. You can always toggle lens correction in the Lens controls of the Develop Persona when a raw file has been opened, anyway. Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 The pixel sizes are different in the two screenshots so there is something happening here. The Affinity Photo screenshot says the image is larger than the MS photo screenshot. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
