The ability to adjust the range slider behaves oddly.  I create a node and just cannot move it UNLESS i click and drag it VERY quickly, even then it does not always work.  Graphics acceleration is turned off due to other issues reported by others.

  1. Are you using the latest release version?  Yes
  2. Can you reproduce it? Yes
  3. Does it happen for a new document? Yes
  4.
  •    Windows 10 fully updated Intel i7 8700K, Gigabyte H370 HD3 board and Intel 660P 1Tb SSD. main storage.   No GPU installed.
  •    Create two shapes or place two images on a canvas. With a mouse, select the blend range cog and in the underlying composition range pull down the left node.  Let go of the node, reselect the node and drag it right.  It wont move usually.  You can move the node with arrow keys though.  Reselect the node and quickly drag it right and it might move.  You can create a node and it also refuses to move nearly every time.  This exact same problem also occurs with the curves filter.  The nodes move if a tablet and pen are used in place of the mouse, which may be pertinent to fault diagnosis.
  •   I have a blue tooth tablet
  •    This problem only occurred since the latest round of updates.

@Rufusbadger,

I've tried to replicate this to no avail. I've tried using shapes and images. I do have and use a Wacom tablet, but it's not blue-tooth. I've tried it using my mouse, and my tablet.

Thanks for the feedback Ron.  I know a couple of folks have had this but it's clearly not widespread!  I have loads of Macros and stuff I would rather not reload (as in find again), but I suspect re-install, back version or start up with control(?) pressed to reset defaults may be the only workable solution in the meantime.  It's such a weird problem, and very frustrating because it used to work perfectly.

I also have an INTUOS tablet with rechargeable battery; and wireless transmission. It works for me without any problem.

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity of the pen tip in the Wacom settings software?

The pen works fine it's when I use the mouse to drag the nodes it usually fails.  Actually I have discovered that if when I try and move a node and it does not move, if I keep the node selected and snap drag the mouse quickly, the node will move.  Also today the problem is less of a problem for some reason!

We could not replicate it here either. If you get inconsistent results, I start to think it's more of a local issue on your end.
