Mike Long Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I installed Affinity Photo (purchased from Affinity Store) as a plugin to Lightroom (LR) CC. When I use the "Edit In" option in LR, and select Affinity Photo from the menu, the Affinity Program does not launch. Rather I get an 'info' type error box titles Affinity Photo Setup, and text in the box says something to the effect of: Options: / help show this message / Create MSI for silent installation (using a product key) / Defualts create MSI for silent installation (for use with an Affinity defaults file). Interestingly, I can see that a TIFF file is being created that shows up as a thumbnail at the bottom of the LR workspace (but the Affinity Program does not launch). Any help would be appreciated! walt.farrell Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 It sounds like you have pointed LR at the installer executable for Affinity Photo, not to the installed application, @Mike Long. Make sure you've actually run the installer to install the program, and that you're pointing LR to the installed program, by default C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\Photo.exe Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
