Dan C Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Hi @AmirHabb, Welcome to the forums I have split your post into a new topic thread, as the thread you had posted in was regarding colour profiles on the Surface Pro 7 and I believe the issue you're reporting to be different - so I have moved your post to it's own thread. Please note this means that currently you are not 'following' the thread and won't be notified of the replies, please ensure to select the 'Follow' option at the top right of the thread if you wish to receive notifications for replies here. In regards to the issue you're reporting, there may be a few reasons for this but it sounds likely to be a crash when Affinity is trying to initiate OpenCL. A few users are experiencing issues with OpenCL enabled, the number one cause of which is outdated Graphics Card drivers. Please visit the manufactures link below to download the latest driver available - - Intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html - Nvidia: https://www.geforce.com/drivers - AMD: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-driver-autodetect Note: you may need to go direct to the laptop manufactures website for the driver, if you see a warning regarding 'OEM drivers' when trying to install one from the above site. Once downloaded and installed, please restart your computer and then launch the Affinity app again. If this is still crashing, then we'll disable OpenCL to help resolve this. Please open Affinity Photo > Edit > Preferences > Performance and untick Hardware Acceleration - Restart the app as prompted and then try opening an image once again. Does this resolve the crashing for you please? Quote
AmirHabb Posted February 24, 2021 Author Posted February 24, 2021 PROBLEM SOLVED. The problem is my Surface Pro 7 Drivers was not up-to-date. After installed latest drivers from Microsoft Official Website https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=100419 Affinity Photo able to run on my Surface Pro 7.
