How to open PNG images purchased from Creative Market

Hi

I have just installed the free trial of Affinity Illustrator. I am trying to open some PNG images I purchased from Creative Market but when I go to File > Open from the Affinity software I cannot find my images? I can see them when I go to my Computer files. Am I missing a trick?

There is no such application as Affinity Illustrator; which application are you using?
What are the file types of the files you are downloading from Creative Market? (The file type consists of the letters at the end of the filename, after the last dot. E.g. The file “house.jpg” is a ‘jpg’ file type.)
I know you said you are trying to open some PNG images but people can get confused sometimes and websites don’t always give you what you expect.
If you can give us a screen-grab of the folder the files exist in and another screen-grab of your application Open window then that would help.
Also, which OS are you using?
