Affinity Designer Artboard wrong page numbers

Recommended Posts

I have many artboards (or layers) in a document. And for some reason, most of the running page numbers or layers is correct in running ascending order, but there are some which do not reflect the correct or same page numbers as in the layers name. Even when layer name is updated or changed, the artboard name still does not change.

Though I guess this is not a significant problem as the export should follower the layers order, but am I missing something?

Thanks.

It would help to see your document, or at least a screenshot of your workspace (and the Layers panel) to help understand what you're talking about.

But taking a guess: assuming you are talking about Artboards (not Layers), when you Export your document to PDF using File > Export, each Artboard would be a page. And the pages will be built such that the lowest Artboard in the Layers panel stack is page 1, the next higher one is page 2, etc. Artboard names are irrelevant to this. It is purely their physical order in the Layers panel, from bottom to top, that determines the page order.
