pbuehlmann
Hi... I created a chip card design on an A4 page. It has the front and back and other information on it. Now I want to print the front side on a chip card printer. How can I define the printing area? The print area only contains a small part of the A4 page. Joachim_L
Welcome to the Affinity forums @pbuehlmann! AFAIK you cannot do this directly with AD, but you can select the front side on your document and export selection to PDF and print from your PDF viewer. Here my personal feature request: Printing N-Up would be much more flexible, if negative values for Left and Top would be allowed. If it would be the case pbuehlmann could print via N-Up. And another feature request which came to my mind right now: In the printing dialogue we have a preview of the area which will be printed, why not make this area movable, so we can decide which and where to print? Maybe locked as default, so that nothing is moved inadvertently. pbuehlmann
Hi Joachim Thanks for the feedback. too bad this doesn't work. So far I've worked with Adobe Illustrator. There I could move the print area in the document as I wanted ... Greetings Pascal
