davgarrod76
Hi. Excuse my english :) In Affinity Photo, for example, I go to Help > My Account. When I install one of the packs ("20 Fog Overlays by Paper Farms", for example), it gets installed somewhere on the "C:" drive. My "C:" drive is quite small (I use it only for system files), and I need to install that content (it's some gigas) on other drive. Is there a way to change the installation folder? Thanks. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @davgarrod76. If you look at the FAQ at the bottom of this post, it will show you where that information is saved, in the "user" folder, depending on where you purchased the application. If you purchased directly from Serif it's in C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user and Affinity does not give you a way to change that. You can change it using Windows functions, but it is not without risk and is not something that Serif would support if it doesn't work properly. You can see this post for a description of what I've done: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
