Also, as Assets are stored in a single assets.propcol file, if anything goes wrong in reading or writing the file you'll lose all your Assets. So make sure you keep the original files and are prepared to reinstall them as assets again. Or, perhaps, after loading them into an Assets category, export the category as a .afassets file to make them easy to reload later when you need to.
