With Pen Tool, first node's handles can't be moved around until you add a second node.

Fair point.  We'll have a look at this when we get chance.  Bit of a niche case though.


With the Pen tool, the first node placed does not actually create an object in your document.  It's only when the second node is placed that a real path is formed.  So, there is no path for the Node tool to edit.  So, re-editing the first point is a special case, but arguably we should have it working consistently.


For now, you can re-drag out your first point but dragging from the initial node in the Pen tool.  This will let you set new positions for the off-curve handles.

Cool, makes sense. Too many years of using Illustrator. :) Designer is shaping up to be something special, looking forward to its App Store release tomorrow. Appreciate the quick response!
