samramsan
I create a lot of new icons for my web projects, some times I use Photo, other times I use Designer, and when working in one environment more than often, I need some asset that happens to be in another of the Apps, so I have to go to the other one, copy the asset and then go back to where I'm creating my new art, so it's difficult to backup & update the assets panel when I remember that they are not holding the same mount of elements. Is there a way that the assets libraries could update as the font do in real time every time I install a new font? It would be helpful and quite convenient to no mater if I'm on Photo or Designer, all my icons and graphic element could be auto shared an all 3 (Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher) #AssetsPanel Serif_Desktop

It is also, in my opinion. risky to try to make the applications share a common file. Issues are likely to occur if two or more applications attempt to write the file at the same time, or if one attempts to read while another is writing. samramsan 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
CP16
I’m wondering if this is closer to possible now with 1.9, since you can log in and see your library of purchases. samramsan

It is certainly possible that the new 1.9 function could be enhanced to allow your personal Assets to be uploaded to the Affinity Store from one application, where they could be automatically installed into the other applications. That still doesn't really provide "sharing" across applications, as it would still involve having multiple copies installed. samramsan 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.

I wasn’t sure if the option to automatically download new content could work. Or if something similar could be written to allow for local libraries, since I’m sure they don’t want to have to store everyone’s files in the cloud. It would be awesome to have this, and would blend in well with the seamless persona feature. samramsan
