Background removal (automatically)

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a plugin (hopefully compatible with Affinity Photo) that can delete a background automatically without pay per image?

So basically with just a click of a button (no masking).

Examples:

and so on..

Hopefully this will become available in Affinity Photo.

I'm not aware of anything like this that works with Affinity I'm afraid.

Ah well, probably in a year or so there will be one. I saw on some plugin websites like Topaz labs that they also have "AI" plugins like AI Mask. Wondering what AI will bring in the future. I'm still amazed by some of the new stuff. It's not on the support plugins list (yet) so i haven't tried it.

Since Canva has purchased Affinity's 3 platforms, has anybody heard any talk of them >finally< integrating auto background removal into any of the personas? It would only make sense now, since Canva itself has the capability. I would think that it would only be a matter of time. And not a long time either. 🫤
