imagefirst
Have a placed pdf that I want to crop, is there a way to crop to a specific size? I can resize by dragging the tool, but if I want to take an 8" to 7.125 exactly it is very difficult. How do I choose precise crop dimensions? GarryP
As far as I know there is no way to numerically specify the dimensions used by the Crop Tool (happy to be proved wrong though). Instead of using the Crop Tool you could create a rectangle of the necessary dimensions and then put the image layer inside the rectangle. walt.farrell
As you mentioned both, are you wanting to crop, or resize? Resizing is easy; just use the Transform panel. But if you do mean Crop, then either @GarryP's approach, or setting up Guides and cropping to them, are the only ways I know.
