If you mean at the same time remove a row and a column then no, but if you want to remove a column or several columns  then right click or control click on the letter or number and select delete from the drop down context menu.

I Don't know how you are not seeing the letters for the Columns nor the numbers for the Rows. What tool are you using? Is the table clipped or something?

This is what I see when I click on either the columns letters or rows numbers, If I click further to the right I get the same drop down menu you have.

Weird is right. we will just have to wonder what happened to the letters and numbers.
