SteveRoberts
Hello, Using the latest version of Affinity Designer on a Mac. I copied, pasted, rasterized, and then cropped an image in AD. Now, I'd like to reposition the image within the crop area. How may I drag the image around inside the crop area? Thanks! SR
GarryP
One thing you can do is to not crop the image. Instead, you can clip the image within another shape. See attached video. 2021-02-18 08-57-09.mp4

Cropping to a shape should work equally well here. You just need to select the cropping/masking shape (instead of the image) in the Layers panel. No need to lock children! Designer's Crop Tool gives the cropped object a vector mask child, so enable Lock Children in the context toolbar of Move Tool and then move the image layer. It's the horizontal bar of controls for the active tool. You see its content change when you switch tools. By default, it is just above the view of the document. If the app window is too narrow for all the controls to be visible, there will be a button with double chevron icon at right-hand end, which discloses a list of further controls.
