Dalibor Puljiz
Whenever I bring up a Refine Selection tool, Affinity Photo ends in a infinite loop.
Staff Chris B Posted February 17, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 17, 2021 Hey Dalibor Puljiz, Is this as soon as you press Refine or are you changing some of the other settings? Can you attach a crash report please? They can be found here: Affinity Store version - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports\reports Microsoft Store version - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Store)\CrashReports\reports You can acccess the AppData folder by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard and then just type %AppData% Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Dalibor Puljiz
Hey Chris, The first time it got stuck when I tried to change the feather option (couple of days ago). Yesterday it got into an endless loop as soon as I've entered the refine mode. Unfortunately I can't reproduce it now (I just tried the same files as yesterday). And it has happened to me like 3-4 times. BTW, I took a look into %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports\reports and all I can find are these files made the last year, looks like Affinity Photo hasn't detected the crash at all. Which maybe technically it wasn't, but Affinity Photo was stuck in place forever. I needed to force kill the program. Nonetheless, I've attached below files: Name Ext Size Modified Creation Date d3ac0643-b2d4-43c1-8c25-f7619fa7dd42.dmp dmp 6,18 MB 10.04.2020. 21:17:36 10.04.2020. e2bcfbc9-d52f-416f-9928-6d4e84c7c02e.dmp dmp 767 KB 01.09.2020. 20:39:49 01.09.2020. ef3346b0-b486-4764-a4a4-161480cb556c.dmp dmp 3,76 MB 30.06.2020. 18:32:25 30.06.2020. reports.7z
