Jeffl
Windows 10 ver 20H2 Build 19042.804 Designer Crashes soon after opening. Previous ver 1.8 worked without crashing. Jeffl
There are two AffinitySetup folders with the same latest time and date 2/11/2021 4:46 PM. Both are empty. In fact all AffinitySetup folders (8) going back to 8/12/2020 are completely empty. 0 bytes.
Mark Ingram
Thanks @Jeffl. The crash is actually in jscript9.dll which isn't part of our code (it's a Microsoft module for Internet Explorer). Did you have the Welcome screen open at all?
Jeffl
If you're referring to the Designer welcome screen. I close it and attempt to work on a file. Then it just crashes after a few seconds. I do not use Internet Explorer at all.
Jeffl
This is now resolved. Working correctly. Problem was having two graphics cards enabled at the same time. One had older drivers. Even after updating both cards drivers, there was a conflict that slowed all programs considerably. But, Designer did not crash after updating. The final solution was to turn off the unused card. Now display speed is very much improved. Thank you for your assistance. Sean P and Mark Ingram
