Staff MEB Posted September 29, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 29, 2015 Hi Jiorjos, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, Affinity Photo (and Designer) are able to create typographic compositions with text/masked text and images etc. I believe this is what you're asking about? Staff MEB Posted September 30, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 30, 2015 Hi Jiorjos, If you don't need to edit the images extensively (photo editing/composition) and want to use them mostly as "objects" in your compositions/layouts then i would say that Affinity Designer is more adequate. It gives you more flexibility to work with vector elements (shapes, ornaments etc), text (it supports text-on-path) and still have enough raster tools to improve photos when needed. It's geared towards design in general (graphic, web, UI design and illustration etc) while Affinity Photo is mostly for RAW development and photo editing/painting (illustration).
