TonyTaibi
HI- Does anyone have a method that'll remove just the blue background to this image? I tried the normal methds and final image dosn't come clean..the blue color is imbedded in between the coils of the spring. Thanks for any advise. I appreciate it.... firstdefence
Did you take the image for could the image be retaken? If it can, I would photograph it on a white evenly lit background. Don't think there is an easy way to do this. Due to reflections etc, it would likely have to be a slow, zoomed in and delete carefully around the spring job, then block erase the larger area's. The cream objects would be fairly easy to isolate on their own layers. It doesn't help that the blue background is textured and the objects are casting shadows as well. If this was a product shot it would be better made in a 3D app and rendered without a background Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Pšenda
I don't know what other adjustments you want to make after removing the background, but maybe you could take advantage of the fact, that the spring is metal, so it's colorless in itself. Any of its coloration is caused only by mirroring the colored background. So maybe it would be enough to transfer it to BW. Gold-plated terminals and plastic parts would have to be masked. firstdefence 1 Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155.
