kiakari
Hello all, My apologies if this has already come up, but I couldn't find any other posts that matched this problem. I'm creating a document in English and French. Spell check works fine for English, but underlines all the French. I do have a French dictionary installed (Mac), but for some reason, Publisher can't see this. Even weirder is that Publisher tells me that the words it has underlined are in Portuguese and that there's no Portuguese dictionary installed. This is odd because: 1, it's definitely French, not Portuguese; and 2, I do have a Portuguese dictionary installed! I'm not sure what to do really apart from to disable spell check completely. Basically, I need to know: 1. Is it possible to spell check one document in two languages? 2. How do I get Publisher to recognise the dictionaries that I have installed (and that function fine in / are accessible to other apps)? 3. How do I get Publisher to see French as French and not as Portuguese? Thank you very much for any help you might be able to offer. Take care and stay safe everyone. Yes, but for each part of the text (word, sentence, paragraph) you only need to select and set one of them.
