1.9.1.0 bug: Crash clicking Compound icon in Layers panel

Recommended Posts

v1.9.1.0, fresh app preferences & app support files, no other extras
El Capitan, MacBook Pro 9,1

  1. create a few objects
  2. option click or option select a boolean operation to create a compound
  3. click on a blue Compound icon in the Layers panel
  4. crash (sometimes just an "internal error" message if enabled)

Also affects APh & APu!

Not affecting v1.8.4.

I reported this the other day, didn't get any comeback - and for me also, bombs every time you click on a layer compound icon  - glad to say it's fixed in 1.9.1.1

I'll also check with v1.9.0 and on High Sierra to Catalina later but can't reboot right now.

Thanks for that - do you mind trying it in 1.9.1.1 as based Dazmondo77 has mentioned the issue has been fixed for him (and would explain why I can't reproduce it!)

Thanks for that - unfortunately there are a LOT of new posts and tickets for us to be getting through so unfortunately its taking us quite a bit of time to get caught up on those! Thanks for letting us know that 1.9.1.1 has fixed it - hopefully that change should make its way into Publisher very shortly. Unfortunately there is no way yet to clone bodies to help deal with the busy release times! 😉

No problems, I did try Catalina myself with no issues. Please just try the latest 1.9.1.1 beta Matt posted, it sounds like it may have been a small hiccup in that release. :)

Yeah, fixed!

Now, the same bug also appears in APh & APu 1.9.1. There's no new betas available for those, right?
