This is a painting based on a movie frame where the mighty duo is trying to avoid a killer while singing in the firemen chorus. Done in Affinity Photo 1.9. Clockmaster77 Posted February 14, 2021 Author Share Posted February 14, 2021 No, it is painted on a reference frame using paint mix brush, sorry for the misunderstanding. Then the work was heavily modified, adding highlights and refining and adding face expression details. The hardest work was to paint mix the shirt of Terence Hill and of the chorus man on the far left in the background. All that lines and rectangles were repainted, ant it was an hell of a work. Without the reference on back it would have been nearly impossible to recreate it whit this level of detail. It was the most complex portrait I've done so far, due to the high amount of faces to replicate and enhance in expression, and due to the shirt issue I have already described, it took me about a week to complete it, while often I do paintings in one day or 2. Thanks Serif to have created such powerful instruments like paint mix brush.
