alvimjc
I’m having a problem, suddenly every time I try to type something (regardless of font used) there’s a background that I can’t remove. I’m not copying and pasting the text. Just using the tool and typing from the keyboard. Any ideas on how to fix? But every new file I make always starts with the same problem. Is there a way for me to have a “master reset”?

The “fix” suggestion is working locally to individual documents but every time I create a new document or open something I’ve had before I need to repeat the reset to get the writing “correct”. Extremely annoying and disappointing, kinda regretting have bought all 3 softwares now for both my iPad and MacBook

I’ve done that earlier today, and also reboot my iPad. No success, the only thing that helps is the “fix” suggested before, but as I said only locally as it seems that the “default” writing now is always with a white background.
