Digbydo 2
Does anyone know if there a method or workflow of somesort on how to achieve either one of these attached type of images? Apparently they are usually referred to as 'Divided' or 'Split photo's' ~ They've been done in something call Photoshop 🤷🏻♂️ if that's any help ~ but either way, I just don't know how to go about achieving the effect. I'm guessing its probably using Layers 'n Masks but beyond that I dunno. Thanks for any help supplied 😉
firstdefence
make shapes like rectangles and nest the same image in those rectangles, effectively you are creating clipping mask, you can then apply filters to change the look. In the case of the sliced image (right) you would just move the rectangles left and right to give a segmented look. Jowday
When working with the vector shapes (rectangles, whatever) you may want to use boolean operators on them. Boolean add or subtract. In Photo they are not available on the toolbar unless you right click it, choose 'Customize toolbar' and drag the Booleans (Geometry) group to the toolbar.
