Placing Apple Numbers content - not sure it's supported

Recommended Posts

See the attached screenshot. Is this correct? According to the technical specs of Publisher you can place various types of spreadsheets, including Apple Numbers. In my case the Numbers files can't be selected - they remain greyed out.

Wow, that is very poorly worded.

I think what it is trying to say is that:

IDML documents may be placed. IDML documents made in Adobe Indesign.

DOCX, RTF and plain text documents may be placed. Documents made by Microsoft word, although I have no problem using Pages to generate those file types.

XLSX Documents may be placed. Here it states three applications which can make and or export XLSX documents.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Aha. That makes sense. Indeed a little bit poorly worded, but if you look carefully at the dash after (XLSX), it is still correct.

Thanks for clarifying.
